This all takes place using our existing efficiencies, from within our current facility, without adding any significant costs that might affect pricing to our customers. MAXIS TECHNOLOGIES, INC.
Fulfilling the Real Meaning of Worldwide Sales

Oklahoma City, OK – Maxis Technologies, Inc.continued its aggressive worldwide sales expansion with the delivery of equipment to be used by a large ISP (Internet Service Provider) in Papua New Guinea.

Maxis Technologies, Inc. has developed a loyal international customer base by providing equipment that is completely Tech Certified and has a 120 day warranty. Maxis Technologies, Inc. also provides technical assistance and the best customer service available anywhere.

According to Jason Payne, the Maxis Technologies Account Executive who was instrumental in all phases of completing this transaction, “When we actively began pursuing international business our mentality was that no corner of the earth was too remote and no customer was too small to assist. When we were selected to provide equipment to a company in a very remote part of the world we rose to the challenge and delivered high quality equipment at a great price, on time and in perfect condition. We are already working with this customer to supply additional equipment.”

Papua New Guinea occupies the eastern half of the rugged tropical island of New Guinea (which it shares with the Indonesian territory of Irian Jaya) as well as numerous smaller islands and atolls in the Pacific. The coastline is liberally endowed with spectacular coral reefs, giving the country an international reputation for scuba diving. The smaller island groups of Papua New Guinea include the Bismarck Archipelago, New Britain, New Ireland and the North Solomons. Some of these islands are volcanic, with dramatic mountain ranges, and all are relatively undeveloped.

Nearly 85 percent of the main island is carpeted with tropical rain forest, containing vegetation that is a combination of Asian and Australian species. The country is also home to an impressive variety of exotic birds, including virtually all of the known species of birds of paradise, and it is blessed with more kinds of orchids than any other country.

It is interesting that many independent telephone companies came to the same conclusion, without contacting each other, that Maxis Technologies is the best option for their network equipment needs.”

US independent telephone companies provide quality, state-of-the-art service using the most modern technology. Fiber optic cable and digital switching equipment are common even among the smallest independents.

Independent telephone companies are an important part of the U.S. telecommunications infrastructure, connecting rural and remote areas to the national network benefiting all Americans, both rural and urban. Many people do not realize that there are more than 1,300 independent telephone companies operating in the United States, companies that never were part of the former Bell System.
Independent telephone companies serve primarily rural areas that the former Bell System chose not to serve and which otherwise may not have had local telephone service.
